Top 10 Bargains from Steam’s 2018 Intergalactic Summer Sale

Up to 10,000 games are on sale right now in Steam’s annual Intergalactic Summer Sale. Now that’s a lot. Far too many to waste your precious time with, scrolling through countless pages to find perhaps that one particular bargain you’re looking for.

Be rest assured, then, we’ve sifted through and found 10 absolute steals that you should definitely look to pick up in this year’s Steam Intergalactic Summer Sale.

10) Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands – £16.49 (67% off)

Ubisoft’s recent approach to giving loyal players a steady stream of free new content means Wildlands is a game that certainly keeps on giving and will be supported for some time to come.

9) Football Manager 2018 – £12.92 (66% off)

‘Football Fever’ is in the air with 2018’s FIFA World Cup, so how about managing your country and seeing if you will fare any better?

8) Dark Souls III – £9.99 (75% off)

Recent years have seen an influx of ‘Souls-like’ games; however, few have managed to come close to the series that created its own genre. Dark Souls III is the newest Souls game and a bargain at under £10.

7) Portal 2 – £1.54 (90% off)

Yes, the game is a little older than others on this list, yet for many this was 2011’s Game of the Year. If you haven’t played it already, this pocket change price makes buying Portal 2 a no-brainer. What’s more, you can pick up the original Portal for £0.71!

6) Cities: Skylines – £5.74 (75% off)

Cities: Skylines was actually included on last year’s list, demonstrating how great of a game this is, dethroning SimCity as the go-to city building sim.

5) Tomb Raider – £2.24 (85% off)

September can’t come fast enough so we can finally get our hands on Shadow of the Tomb Raider. In the meantime, how about reliving Lara’s previous adventures with 2013’s Tomb Raider at only £2.24 and 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider with 70% off at £11.99.

4) Pyre – £5.99 (60% off)

As 2017 was a year so full of incredible games, perhaps Pyre went a little under the radar. At a time of year that’s quiet with new game releases, now’s a better time than any to try out this amazing game.

3) Mad Max – £3.99 (75% off)

Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max was largely overshadowed by Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain when it released back in 2015. However, if you’re getting excited by Rage 2, Avalanche and id Software’s next post-apocalyptic, crazy gun-blazing game coming in 2019, you can always whet your appetite a little and enjoy the underrated Mad Max.

2) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt- Game of the Year Edition – £13.99 (60% off)

Another entry on last year’s list, but I simply couldn’t stop myself from including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt- Game of the Year Edition again. Over 300+ hours of content could be had from the main game and its expansions, and none of it feels like filler either: A rich, deep story with complex and flawed characters in a beautiful world are awaiting you in Geralt’s epic journey.

1) Grand Theft Auto V – £13.19 (67% off)

Speaking of games that keep on giving, it’s sometimes hard to think of Rockstar’s powerhouse Grand Theft Auto V as a 5-year-old game; most months we will see new content being added to its ever expanding GTA Online, and with excitement building for Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 and its own Red Dead Online, it doesn’t seem like they’re going to let up anytime soon. All in all, Grand Theft Auto V with GTA Online at £13.79 is a real bargain.

Hopefully, this list has been useful, and remember that the Steam Intergalactic Summer Sale ends on July 5th, so make sure to check out the sale before it’s too late. Check it out by clicking HERE.
