All WoW Classic World Event Dates Remaining for 2023

World of Warcraft Classic has tons of World Events happening all year round. What celebrations should you expect for this year?

World of Warcraft is not just about raiding dungeons and defeating uber-powerful entities. Taking a day off and enjoying casual events in Azeroth is sometimes the most enjoyable thing. World Events are some of the most anticipated occurrences in the game, and there are many reasons why gamers are excited about them. While you do not necessarily earn WoTLK Classic gold from these festivals, there are many things to do when they happen. With the first quarter of 2023 nearing its end, how many World Events should players expect?

What are World Events in World of Warcraft Classic?

Aside from new expansions and cosmetics, World Events are some of the most enjoyable features in Azeroth. These occurrences can bring many new activities to the game, from new bosses to simple quests. Players are particularly excited about event-exclusive WotLK items they can only acquire for a limited time.

If you are one of those people who has a habit of collecting rarities and unique pieces, then knowing which festivities are still left will help you plan and prepare for them. In addition, those aiming to get the Proto-Drake mount must complete eight World Events to get the “What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been,” which rewards this rare item. Here are the remaining upcoming festivities for this year:

Noblegarden Event (April 9th to 15th)

Prepare your bunny suits as Azeroth’s Easter celebration is approaching. The Noblegarden Event is just a few weeks away, and there are many things to check out. Bunny ears and fancy clothes await players, while eight meta-achievements are up for grabs during the holiday. You must complete all these event-related attainments to get the Noblegarden Achievement, which rewards The Noble title.

Children’s Week (May 1st to 8th)

If you love children, you should take some time off to visit some of the many orphanages found in the major cities of each faction. Take these lonely children on awesome adventures for the Matron or Patron Title. You can also get an event-exclusive non-combat pet for all your efforts. Fortunately, there are only five achievements related to Children’s Week, so you won’t need to put in too much time to progress for your Violet Proto-Drake.

Midsummer Fire Festival (June 21st to July 5th)

Get into the heat of the battle with the Midsummer Fire Festival. This World Event sees players entering the hostile territory and trying to extinguish the flames of their enemies while restoring their friendly ones. While the achievement you need to acquire is only six, the activities related are PvP oriented, so you might have a hard time getting the Flame Keeper title, which you need for the “What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been.”

Fireworks Spectacular (July 4th)

While it only lasts a few days, the Independence Day version of Azeroth is one of the game’s most festive and exhibitive celebrations. The Fireworks Spectacular is simply an explosive display that starts from Booty Bay spreading to various areas. There are no activities or achievements other than watching the show unfold.

Pirates Day (September 9)

Time to celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day in Azeroth with the game’s very own Pirates Day. There is not much to do here other than jolly merriment with the crew of the Dread Captain Demeza. You can get the achievement for this event by doing the /drink emote directed towards the Pirate Leader.

Brewfest (September 20th to October 5th)

What’s a better way to celebrate Oktoberfest in Azeroth other than having almost two weeks of drinking? Brewfest sees both factions engaging in joyous celebration as players go hard in booze and light-hearted brawls. If you want some action, you can participate in the fight against Corin Direbrew in the Grim Guzzler. Slaying him will give you an achievement, and he drops a rare mount. Another good news in Brewfest is that you only need to get six of the nine achievements related to this event to attain the Brewmaster.

Harvest Festival (September 26th to October 2nd)

Azeroth’s Harvest Festival pays tribute to the Korean Choesuk Holiday, the East Asian country’s equivalent of Thanksgiving. The event only lasts a few days and coincides with the Brewfest Festival. You can get tons of good food during the Harvest Festival, particularly in Moonglade. Unfortunately, there are no achievements to gain here so you will participate for enjoyment.

Hallow’s End (October 18th to 31st)

Who would want to miss the Halloween celebration in Azeroth, filled with cool loot and candies? The Hallow’s End event has many activities and fantastic rewards. You can also fight the Headless Horsman,

who may have something in store for you. You must attain 12 achievements during this festival to receive the Hallowed title.

Day of the Dead (Nov 1st to 2nd)

The iconic Dia de Los Muertos also has its WoW equivalent, and it is one of the more solemn and casual events in the game. Day of the Dead has few events other than the appearance of Catrina, the Undead Lady. Tons of décor available during this time to celebrate our honored dead. The is only one achievement in this event called the Dead Man’s Party, which you can obtain by dancing with Catrina. This accolade is not required for the Proto-Drake progress.

Pilgrim’s Bounty (November 21st to 27th)

Pilgrim’s Bounty is one of the biggest celebrations in Azeroth, as the world is filled with food everywhere. There are many new recipes and meals to try, and it is the best time to train your cooking skills. While no activities are related to acquiring the Proto-Drake, some tasks can help you get the Pilgrim title and a non-combat turkey pet.

Feast of Winter Veil (December 15th to January 2nd)

The Christmas celebration in Azeroth is also one of the game’s most significant and festive events. There are tons of décor, clothing, and items that you can collect during this time. You can also meet the Greatfather Winter in each faction’s capital city. While there are 13 achievements to obtain in this event, you only need 11 to get the Merrymaker title, which you need for the Proto-Drake progression.

The Violet Proto-Drake Mount Progression

The Proto-Drake is among the rarest and most accessible mounts in the World of Warcraft Classic. You don’t need to spend anything to get it, but you will have to spend a lot of time and effort to unlock it. This mount is the reward for the “What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been,” which will require you to obtain eight titles and achievements. Here are the attainments you need to get the Proto-Drake:

• To Honor One’s Elders (Lunar Festival Achievement)

• Noble Gardener (Noblegarden Achievement)

• The Flame Warden or Keeper

• Hallowed Be Thy Name (Hallow’s End Achievement)

• Fool For Love (Love is in the Air Achievement)

• For the Children (For the Children Achievement)

• Brewmaster (Brewfest Achievement)

• Merrymaker (Winter Veil Achievement)

If you have yet to obtain a specific achievement and missed the event, you must wait for the festival to happen again the following year.

World Events All-Around

Fortunately for fans, these festivities happen yearly, so if you are particularly fond of one of these events, you don’t have to worry about missing out. Even though you do not earn any WoTLK Classic gold during these festivals, they are still delightful and a great way to relax. Do not miss out on these beautiful celebrations when they come to Azeroth.
