Work on Battlefield 2018 Reveal Trailer Is Underway

Work on the reveal trailer for Battlefield 2018 is underway, Senior Video & Media Director/Editor at EA DICE Randy Evans has revealed on Twitter.

On Twitter, Evans didn’t give a date for when we’ll see the reveal trailer, adding that the trailer is currently a work-in-progress, so it’s likely that we won’t see it for at least a few weeks, if not months. The Battlefield 1 trailer, for example, took several months to produce.

However, if Battlefield 1 is anything to go by, we may see the official reveal trailer as early as May. This would give the video production team several months to continue working on the trailer, which fits into a May reveal. We do know that Battlefield 2018 will be featured at EA Play and will be playable, which takes place in June around the same time as E3. It would seem very likely that we’ll see the reveal trailer before then, at least.

Other than the fact that we will be getting a Battlefield game this year and the fact it will be releasing on the usual platforms, we don’t know anything else. Rumours were circulating that this year’s Battlefield game could be Bad Company 3, but that was quickly dismissed by EA.
