Final Fantasy XV Heading to PC in Early 2018

Final Fantasy XV will be making its way onto PC in early 2018, Square Enix has announced during Nvidia’s press event at Gamescom.

The PC version of the game will be called Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition and will include all of the same content seen in the console versions, as well as all of the additional bonus content which has only been available through the game’s Season Pass. One of the PC exclusive features though is the addition of a first-person camera mode which is designed to make the Final Fantasy experience more immersive than it’s ever been.

For the game, Sqaure Enix has teamed up with Nvidia to allow them to bring Nvidia’s GameWorks technology to Final Fantasy XV. As a result, gamers can expect much better visuals all around, providing you have a powerful enough system, that is.

Through Nvidia’s GameWorks technology, Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will get features such as cutting-edge visuals, 4K resolution, advanced hair simulation and high quality ambient occlusion, to name a few. The game will also have support for Doly Atmos and HDR10.

Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is set to launch on PC in early 2018.
