The Division Last Stand DLC Will Be Released Next Week

The third expansion for The Division, Last Stand, will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC simultaneously next week on February 28th, Ubisoft has announced in their latest live stream.

Last Stand focuses on the PvP elements of The Division and introduces a new objective-based game mode which tasks players with capturing points within an area of the Dark Zone while working together as a team. It looks like your typical mode of conquest as the teams must then hold each point for as long as possible.

Ubisoft will also be rolling out the 1.6 Update alongside the release of the Last Stand expansion. The update and expansion will unlock after the scheduled weekly maintenance has been completed which takes place from 12.30 am to 3.30 am Pacific time.

The Last Stand expansion will be the first piece of DLC for The Division which won’t be receiving timed exclusivity on Xbox One. All previous expansions have been available on Xbox One before coming to PS4.

If you are wanting to see what changes are coming with Update 1.6, Massive Entertainment have stated that they will be releasing the patch notes on February 27th. If you can’t wait until then though, the update will be similar to the 1.6 version which is currently available on the public test server. Ubisoft have said that the update will focus on improving server performance as well as improving the performance of The Division on consoles.

You can grab The Division on PS4, Xbox One and PC right now.
