Total War: Attila gets new Age of Charlemagne expansion

The Total War series will be making a return to the middle ages in the latest expansion for Total War: Attila – Age of Charlemagne, SEGA has announced. The expansion is set to launch December 10.

Age of Charlemagne is said to be the game’s largest expansion to date and will see players return to the medieval time period following the end of Attila’s reign of terror. Players will start in the Year 768AD and will feature a new medieval campaign map of Europe featuring 50 conquerable provinces.

Not only that, but SEGA say there are new campaign mechanics, although they don’t elaborate on what exactly they are. However the expansion will see the introduction of Knights as well as other units from the Middle Ages.

You can begin pre-ordering Age of Charlemagne on Steam later today
